Synopsis

Hal Jordan has gone missing. When John Stewart leads a team of Green Lanterns to try and find him, their trail leads them to the discovery of a new corps known as the Red Lantern Corps, who draw their power from rage. The Green Lanterns form an uneasy coalition comprising representatives of various other corps - including Sinestro and new Star Sapphire Carol Ferris - to combat this new threat.

Description of "The Broken" (Mid-credits scene):

Somewhere floating in space is an abandoned and powerless space ship, and lying unconscious in the ship, having been severely tortured by the Red Lantern Corps, is Hal. He is barely conscious, and is mumbling to himself, "The Corps will find me....the Corps will find me...."
