Synopsis

Hal Jordan has gone missing. When John Stewart leads a team of Green Lanterns to try and find him, their trail leads them to the discovery of a new corps known as the Red Lantern Corps, who draw their power from rage. The Green Lanterns form an uneasy coalition comprising representatives of various other corps - including Sinestro and new Star Sapphire Carol Ferris - to combat this new threat.

Description of "Fear Itself" (Mid-credits scene):

Suddenly, a burst of yellow light bathes the ship, and Hal just manages to lift his head to try and see who it is. A deep, sinister voice calls out to him, "The Green Lanterns have abandoned you, Hal Jordan....I am your salvation now."
