Synopsis

When Hal Jordan finds the ring of an alien pilot, he gains the powers of the Green Lantern, an intergalactic police force with the goal of spreading hope and willpower. Hal and his squadron in Sector 2814 have been tasked with taking on the dictator Bito Waldron and keep him from reawakening the entity known as Parallax.

Description of “The Corrupted”:

After Parallax is summoned, Sinestro becomes infected as he was the most fearful in the room. Hal tried to save him but realized there was no way to do so, forcing him to abandon Sinestro as the building collapsed. Sinestro emerges, hungry for revenge against the Lanterns.
