Droxelle was just a recruit when she disagreed with a superior officer in the fulfillment of duty. Her disobedience of orders resulted in the death of several civilians and this earned her a long suspension. She almost killed her life, but found the strength to forgive herself after the families of the dead forgave her. Since then, Droxelle does her best to become a voice of reason to the Lanterns who have made errors of judgment around her. She has been helping the newcomer Horoq Nnot, who has difficulty obeying orders.
