Set after the events in the previous film, Lucius now-turned into an Roman equites is under the command of Caracalla but he dies during the Emperor's war with Parthia, his son Romulus is sent to the Ludus where he befriends Severus Alexander, and tries to kill the Goddess Juno with the help of her daughter the Goddess Minerva.
