Winston and his new recruits Jason Sudeikis(Oscar), Adam Tudyk, Donald Glover and Paul Rudd experience a different level of Haunted torture when The Boogieman escapes the containment unit and kidnaps Phoebe spengler for revenge of OG Ghostbusters capturing him many years ago. Winston calls Ray & Venkman for help but there too old, so Venkman sends Oscar and Winstons hires the new crew, they enter the Boogiemans realm to rescue Phoebe, facing off many ghosts and extreme measures that put them to the test. At the end of the film its slowly pans over a graveyard with a faint voice saying "you didn't actually think, you could keep Samhain the spirit of Halloween locked up forever Ghostbusters"
