Synopsis

Galaxy's Edge: The Series is a live action space opera set in the Star Wars Universe, airing on Disney+. It is based on the lore of the canon planet Batuu and Black Spire Outpost expanded upon in the Marvel graphic novel miniseries written by Ethan Sacks. The series follows alien space-collector Dok-Ondar and his cohorts as they hunt for the most valuable treasures in the Galaxy far far away. Season 1 kicks off right after the events of the comic, where Dok claims an ancient Sith relic smuggled to him by a gang he double-crossed on technicality.

Description of Dok-Ondar:

The main protagonist, an Ithorian collector and owner of the Den of Antiquities in Black Spire. He is a relatively old being whos drive to hunt for progressively more valuable trinkets is motivated by his quest to make a name for himself, hoping it will honor his parents who died under strange circumstances years ago. As the series progresses, he becomes less sharply business-centric and less quick to throw quips, though he shows strong redeemable qualities as early as the second half of season 1. Dok-Ondar is voiced through his translator device by field veteran Keith David.
