In the Kingdom of Alexandria, a young princess named Garnet escapes her castle to warn a neighboring kingdom about her mother, the queen's increasing erratic behavior. While escaping she encounters Zidane, a teenager part of a group of thieves who were asked to kidnapped the princess. While the pair escape the queen, they slowly begin to unravel a sinister plot of hers, wanting to conquer the neighboring kingdoms.
