Fan Casting Stella in Fate

The spoiled-sweet Crown Princess of Solaria, she’s the RA of Bloom’s dorms, a decision obviously made from nepotism. She seems like the stereotypical “popular girl” but is a genuinely nice person—who just so happens to be drinking the imperialism cool-aid hard. Because of this, her genuine attempts to help Bloom initially come off as condescending, and even once that gets better, she’s still uncritical of her own bigotry until being forced to directly confront it, not fully internalizing the problems until she’s forced to face the full depth of what her mother has done to the other peoples of her dimension. Stella is engaged to Skye, but upon learning of Bloom’s attraction to him, and doesn’t see a contradiction between Bloom having a relationship with him and her being married to him- it’s an arranged marriage, and there’s kind of an expectation that they both see people on the side. This is a bait-and-switch, with it initially coming off to Bloom (and ideally the audience as well) as Stella seeming to think that Bloom’s proposing a “throuple” situation, before it being clarified to be a matter of culture clash, and Stella considering Bloom her best friend.
