Bonnie was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that she doesn't fit in, the adult Bonnie travels to Boston, in full elf uniform, in search of her real mother. As it happens, this is Wendy Hobbs, a cynical businesswoman. After a DNA test proves this, Wendy reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Bonnie with increasingly chaotic results.
