He has also taught Grandpa Gohan and the Ox-King previously as well. It is implied that Master Roshi has been around for a VERY long time, due to drinking the "Immortality Elixir". Unfortunately, Master Roshi is also notorious for his lecherous manner around women, and will usually sexually harass them if he gets the chance.
