Description of Emmanuel Macron:
He is a French politician, civil servant and banker, and the current president of his country. Macron studied philosophy at the University of Paris X - Nanterre, completed a master's degree in public policy at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, and then graduated from the École Nationale d'Administration in 2004. On 7 May 2017, he was elected President of France with 66.10% of the vote, defeating far-right candidate Marine Le Pen. A week later, he was sworn in as the 25th president of France, and in doing so became the youngest president in French history Macron was re-elected in April 2022 for a new five-year term.
