Synopsis

Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl who can travel across the multiverse, to battle multiple threats, including a Darkhold corrupted Scarlet Witch, all while a bigger problem begins that threatens to wipe out millions across the multiverse.

Description of "The Future" (Mid-Credits Scene):

Strange is meditating in the Sanctum Sanctorum when he suddenly has multiple visions of the future. In these visions, he sees himself training a female apprentice, New York City being destroyed, the body of an alternate Doctor Strange, glimpses of Kang the Conqueror with He Who Remains' line referencing his multiple variants being heard, setting up Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the Battleworld Saga. The visions stop and Strange looks at the mirror surprised as he has a third eye due to exposure from the Darkhold when he destroyed it.
