Synopsis

A suspense horror film set in a small coastal town, Potter’s Bluff, where after a series of gory murders commited by mobs of townspeople against visiting tourists, the corpses begin to come back to life. How does the town coroner bring these tourists back as part of their small-town, ever-increasing in its charm and hospitality? Is he freeing them from their depressing lives and offering them a new chance, is he a crazed monster, a macabre genius? And how far has this gone?

Description of Sheriff Dan Gillis (The Lawman):

Sheriff of Potter’s Bluff, and our hero. Has lived in this town his whole life, met his wife here, and quickly moved through the ranks in law enforcement. When he investigates a slew of murders in the tiny town - seemingly all tourists, runaways, traveling workers, or homeless folks - he unearths the truth about how their charming town stays so populated, friendly, and flourishing. Dobbs gently explains to Dan that was murdered by his already-turned wife years ago, and brought back to stay as the town’s sheriff for all time. He is unfortunately never able to retain this information and is constantly trying to solve the same mystery year after year. Aged 40-45.
