Love stories, family troubles and suspenseful adventures embroil the denizens of Salem in every form of drama from flowering courtships, love triangles and unexpected wedding day reveals to custody battles, switched identities, murder investigations, lingering comas, mental illness, kidnappings, amnesia cases and more. Changes made by me to the current version of the show include: Making Sonny's friend Brian the son of Peter Blake/Paul's boyfriend/Will Horton's rival, Introducing Maxine's kids Janelle and Marcus, Sami and Lucas' daughter Allie comes out as trans male Alan to friends and family, Paul Telfer plays Justin and Angelica's son Alex instead of Xander Cook, recast Andrew Donovan and made him Abby's love interest, Chad and Melanie get back together and eventually get married/have kids, have Linsey Godfrey play Noelle Curtis instead of Sarah Horton, rivalry between Sydney and Ciara as well as love triangle with Chase Jennings, introducing Melinda's daughter Jade Trask and making Li Shin Melinda's brother/Jade's uncle, reintroduce Philip and Mimi's son Tyler Kiriakis and put him in a love triangle with Alan and Jade, and make Ben and Gabi a couple who eventually get married/have kids.
