Months after Eggman was finally destroyed, Sonic thought he and his friends could finally be free to do what they want, as when we last saw them. The Resitance was changed into The Restoration, hoping to rebuild what Robotnik destroyed. But then some of Eggman’s robots were operational, and nor he, or Metal Sonic, were alive to reactivate them! Sonic and his friends investigate while meeting new friends along the way, such as Tangle the Lemur, but also new foes like the crime duo of Rough and Tumble! Description of Tangle the Lemur (Sonic’s new friend):

Tangle is much like Sonic in some ways, but she’s more energetic, excited, and eager than anybody Sonic has ever known. Like Tails, her tail can do cool stuff too! It can stretch far and wide and even form a fist when she needs it to be! She met Sonic while defending her part of town from Badniks and saved his life. Tangle was like a fangirl when she joined Sonic and his friends in finding who’s behind all this. And when Tangle meets a certain red and black armadillo, she has something that she never had before: a crush.
