Months after Eggman was finally destroyed, Sonic thought he and his friends could finally be free to do what they want, as when we last saw them. The Resitance was changed into The Restoration, hoping to rebuild what Robotnik destroyed. But then some of Eggman’s robots were operational, and nor he, or Metal Sonic, were alive to reactivate them! Sonic and his friends investigate while meeting new friends along the way, such as Tangle the Lemur, but also new foes like the crime duo of Rough and Tumble! Description of Guests at Longclaw’s funeral (Cameos):

There was no coffin because Longclaw was going to be cremated. But there were beautiful sunflowers and other flowers to show everyone’s love and support for the dearly departed Longclaw. She has fought in the Great War. She raised Sonic. She helped him and Tails beat Eggman the first time. She was crucial in convincing Shadow and Rouge to turn good. She gave motherly wisdom and life lessons to everyone from Cream to Vector. She was a descendant of the warriors who first fought Iblis. She helped everyone fight Dr. Robotnik, Black Doom, Eggman Nega, Mephiles, Dark Gaia, and Neo Metal Sonic. She died saving Sonic and everyone.
