Synopsis

After a heartbreaking defeat, Sonic and the Resistance must look to unlikely allies for aid: the Babylon Rogues, the Hooligans, even Eggman himself! Sonic desperately saves Amy and was almost destroyed doing it, but Silver’s team came from the future to save them. After their secret base was found, thanks to a secret traitor, Sonic leads the Resistance for one final stand against Neo MEtal Sonic. At the end of this, Sonic and his friends will have to face Metal Sonic’s final and most powerful form of all: Metal Overlord!!!!!

Description of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik (Now an ally, I guess?):

Eggman and hicohorts (Orbot, Cubot, and Snively) may have come in warmly welcoming them, but he did not receive a warm welcome. He almost died from Knuckles about to snap his neck without effort until Sonic told Knux to let him go. Robotnik didn't have anything up his sleeve this time. This time, he looked sincere. He wanted to help bring Neo Metal Sonic down!!!! Although he has not fought during the final battle, Eggman and his team worked together with the Robians (who, like most of the Resistance, do not trust him) to stop the Armada's fleet from giving Neo Metal Sonic the upper hand. But everyone knows: he's hiding something. But what?
