Sonic and Tails were roaming Emerald Hill Zone when Robotnik attacked, and having thought destroyed Sonic at last, and captured Tails. Then, an armadillo and a squirrel named Mighty and Ray help him get back on his feet and become eager to help Sonic go to Eggman Island and take Tails back. But there is more to them than meets the eye, as we discover some secrets that connect his past to Robotnik, just like Sonic's past did!
