Synopsis

A television miniseries adaptation of the classic DC comic event set within the Smallville universe. Set 20 years after the series finale, the story follows as Clark Kent must be convinced to step back into the role of Superman to face off against the immoral “heroes” Lex Luthor has unleashed on the world.

Description of Green Arrow (Oliver Queen):

Having lost his son to cancer years ago, Oliver has kept himself busy by resisting Luthor’s new heroes and fighting back against their depravity. He now leads the secretive group of “Outsiders” who get information about Luthor’s dealings from an insider.
