A hypothetical adaptation of the Stephen King novel, which would follow the book more closely than previous versions. The story follows Carrie White, a teenager with telekinetic powers who’s abused at home and bullied at school, and finally snaps in a horrific way when she’s humiliated at the prom. This version I have in mind would retain plot elements from the book more so than the film versions we have now, including the the memoir Sue Snell writes and the scene between Carrie and Sue at the end.read more

Description of Sue Snell:

Sue Snell is the kindhearted girl who works to make amends for her past behavior as a bully. In the book, she has an emotional scene with Carrie at the very end, and then goes on to write a memoir. Neither of these two plot elements have made it into an existing film version, so this hypothetical version would keep them.
