Michael Carter is a janitor from the 25th Century who went back in time to the 1990's to become the world's greatest fraud! …Umm, wait no I meant the World's Greatest Superhero! (Yeah, that's it!) Riffing on his future tech to fill in the gaps that his normal human body cannot, Mike fought crime as part of the Superhero Duo: Blue and Gold! However, after the death of his crime fighting partner, Booster Gold decides to run back to his home century and return to his life of mopping hallways. Even this new plan of once again running away from his problems goes awry as he finds himself stuck in modern day Jump City, where he is surprised to find out that there is a new heir to his partner's legacy. Can Mike show this new Blue Beetle the ropes? Or will his asshole tendencies get the better of him? Tl;dr it's like Cobra Kai but with superheroes.
