Description of Batman (Dick Grayson):

After Bane broke Bruce Wayne's back, Bruce never fully recovered and was forced to retire from being Batman. Bruce offered the mantle to Dick, but he refused, having just gotten engaged to Barbara Gordon and made plans to start his family in Blüdhaven. He and Barb got married and did just that. Four years later, Barb gave birth to their son, John. She was supposedly killed in the street by a thug that caught her by surprise about a year after John was born. This prompted Dick to move back to Gotham, reconnect with Bruce, and lead the new Justice League as Batman. When John got old enough, he became Dick's Robin.
