Synopsis

Live action TV series of Blood : The Last Vampire The stories are based on and adapted from the anime movie, the 2000 manga by Benkyo Tamaoki, the Yarudora PS2 Video Games and the Night of the Beasts novel. unlike the 2009 version in which everything is inaccurate and strays away from the source materials. The stories are set in 1960s and early 2000s respectively. Its main protagonist is a girl named Saya, who hunts bat-like creatures called chiropterans.

Description of Saya:

Saya (小夜, Saya) is the primary character and is, as the show describes, the last 'original' vampire. unlike her Blood+ and Blood-C counterpart, this Saya's personality is dark, mysterious and frequently threatening. almost emotionless, cold and bland. gets angry when people mention God in her presence.

  • johndavis_1994 Fyi, my idea is that Saya in this tv series will be bilingual (speaking japanese and english), so i pick Karen F for the role (aside from her performance as Kimiko in The Boys and Katana in Suicide Squad) because she can speak fluent jpnese. The 2009 movie did a great casting, but the actress's jpnese kinda sounds weird since she's not jpnese.

    • johndavis_1994   And my idea for the second season is that Saya will speak japanese for the entire season because it took place in Tokyo and the majority of the characters will mostly be played by JP actors/actresses. She only speak english if there were a conversation between her and some of the english speaking characters
