Fred Hayashi grew up on a S.H.I.E.L.D. base where he was experimented on for his unusual powers. This never got him down as he threw himself into the world of comic books and media to keep himself busy. He does not take anything seriously, but when push comes to shove, he is probably the biggest asset that Big Hero 6 has to offer.
