Description of The Mad Hatter (Gervis-Dietrich "Jervis" Tetzner ):

Jervis was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1978. Leaving home at 18, he would study neuroscience as well as dabble in computer science before being taken under the wing of Hugo Strange. However, after finding files of human experimentation, he himself would fall victim to his own studies. He now seeks revenge on Gotham after being used as a ‘sleeper killer’ for the people that made him The Mad Hatter.
