Synopsis

It's been over 20 years since Gotham saw Bruce Wayne hang up his cape. Upon noticing that just as crime came with a new wave of villains, the city also continued to need Batman, his path ended up meeting with a young man who he decides to turn into his apprentice. Creating his own legacy in the process since then, Terry McGinnis is now faced with the most explosive backlash from anyone who wants his head at all costs - but he will also respond in kind. Serving as a spin-off to The Flash: Chaos Effect, ‘Batman Beyond' unlike other projects connected to of the call Earth-225, is not set there, but in the so-called Earth-89, the same as Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992).

Description of Mary McGinnis:

Terry's mother. After being divorced on friendly terms with his father, where they continued to talk, she would end up living with Terry when she found out about the murder of Warren, who resided with the eldest son. Unaware of her secret, Mary supports her son's current job as Bruce Wayne's 'personal assistant' as a way to get him off the streets. Terry's younger brother, Matt McGinnis, is even mentioned by her in the plot, where she sent him to study in a city outside of Neo-Gotham.
