Synopsis

Arkham Origins brings Batman into conflict with sadistic, brutal crime lord Black Mask. The most powerful man in the city and ruler of Gotham's criminal underworld, Black Mask has vast wealth and resources, has eliminated his opposition and is consolidating his power.

Description of Giovanni Luchese:

After a new criminal mastermind known as the Joker managed to break into one of Roman Sionis/Black Mask's safehouses and abducted Sionis' girlfriend, Tiffany Ambrose, Sionis, who was afflicted with paranoia, had Luchese, one of his trusted henchmen, pose as him in order to distract the Joker while Sionis himself ambushed Joker from a window behind him. Unfortunately for Luchese, the Joker had already deduced that he was not actually Sionis and managed to kill him instantly and shot him straight through the heart. Luchese was 31 years old at the time of his death.
