Barbara Gordon has been living the life of Batgirl , unknown to her father Jim Gordon. She struggles to live the dual life, much to the angst of her mentor,Batman. Things change when Carmine Falcone instigates a crime surge with the help of a mentally insane arsonist Firefly and an assassin called The Huntress who's being manipulated by Falcone using the mystery surrounding her parent's deaths. With Batman on duty with the Justice League ( during events of Crime Syndicate), Batgirl must face her ultimate test to prove she can stand on her own against crime , without the shadow of her mentor's wings.
