Synopsis

In the years after the war, Barbie lives in New York and makes her living as an author while her sister Chelsea studies art in France. Chelsea encounters Ken Carson, a childhood crush who originally proposed to Barbie but was rejected. Their middle sister, Stacey is married to a teacher while shy sister Skipper catches a sickness that brings the Roberts family together again.
