Description of Mickey Smith:
First Appearance: Rose. To further develop Rose's homelife, Kripke introduced her boyfriend, Mickey who she had known since childhood. While he is Rose's boyfriend, she often ignores that fact and ends up breaking up with him after drifting apart. He eventually becomes a secondary companion and decides to stay in a parallel world to take up the mantle of his alternate self who died. He eventually gets together with Martha Jones off-screen.
