Synopsis

Set in the immediate future of the end of “Game of Thrones”, we see King Bran’s rule be met with terrifying challenges and all new enemies. His enemies grow numerous, Dorne and the Southern Half of the Reach joining together to overthrow him as his worst fears are recognized. Daenerys has returned, resurrected by the Red Priestesses in Volantis, with family at her back. Her nephew, another son of Rhaegar long assumed dead, and a long sworn enemy of the Targaryen dynasty, the Blackfyres.

Description of Brandon Stark (King Bran I “the Broken” Stark):

King Bran’s rule was marked as prosperous for its first half year, but his failure to find Drogon in Essos led to more than he’d hoped. He has since learned of something more troubling. Aegon Targaryen, son of Rhaegar and Elia, has arisen in the Stepstones as a king. His main ally is an unlikely one, a long known enemy of the Targaryens and a house long assumed dead. Haerys Blackfyre is the last known male of House Blackfyre, a cadet house of the Targaryens that attempted to overthrow them on many circumstances. They have landed in Dorne under Lord Quentyn’s wishes and allowance. Bran assumes the Dornish and the Reach revolters will attempt to depose him and build the Targaryen dynasty anew.
