Synopsis

The Youngers, a Black family living in the 1950s encounter struggles to follow their dreams in a time period when people were not treated equally based on their gender and race. Now with the coming of a $10,000 check after the death of their patriarch, the family now becomes more determined to decide what is to be done about their future.
