Synopsis

Springwood, Ohio. Like other residents, a girl has become accustomed to seeing her home as a peaceful place, something with a certain truth. But when a brutal murder with no apparent explanation occurs, and the same nighttime dream is shared by her and other young people, they soon realize that what happens in their distorted dreams comes true in reality in the form of a sadistic disfigured serial killer, part of a macabre history that the city still tries to forget. Now, one thing is certain: if they want to stay alive, sleeping will not be an option.

Description of The Light after the Dark:

A few days after Freddy's defeat, Louise and Kevin find themselves sitting on a sidewalk, looking at the cars passing by. [Kevin] - Do you think we...really defeated him? - Well, sometimes all we need to believe in something is to believe it, unless proven otherwise. And I don't see anything that would make me change that idea. - I understand.....ah, Louise. - Yes? - By any chance... would you like to go to the cinema... with me? - Um...as long as it's not for a horror movie! - Fair enough 😂 The scene zooms out as the two laugh, showing Chloe smiling as spies on both of them: - Cliché dialogues, but cute. Someday I'll find someone like that. Someday...; The opening credits roll.
