Synopsis

Springwood, Ohio. Like other residents, a girl has become accustomed to seeing her home as a peaceful place, something with a certain truth. But when a brutal murder with no apparent explanation occurs, and the same nighttime dream is shared by her and other young people, they soon realize that what happens in their distorted dreams comes true in reality in the form of a sadistic disfigured serial killer, part of a macabre history that the city still tries to forget. Now, one thing is certain: if they want to stay alive, sleeping will not be an option.

Description of Lieutenant Aaron Myers:

What I'm telling you is that we're dealing with a maniac, not a supernatural movie serial killer. Myers has been a police officer in Springwood for a few months, leading the investigation into the city's recent mysterious murders. Despite Louise's statements, he doesn't seem to believe there is anything supernatural at play - at least not at first.
