Synopsis

Springwood, Ohio. Like other residents, a girl has become accustomed to seeing her home as a peaceful place, something with a certain truth. But when a brutal murder with no apparent explanation occurs, and the same nighttime dream is shared by her and other young people, they soon realize that what happens in their distorted dreams comes true in reality in the form of a sadistic disfigured serial killer, part of a macabre history that the city still tries to forget. Now, one thing is certain: if they want to stay alive, sleeping will not be an option.

Description of Facing the Nightmare - Part 3:

After retreating for a short time after putting out his flames, Freddy resumes his objective of going after the trio - especially Louise - where they find themselves again in an alley. He tries once again to scare them, but this time to no avail. - Who...do you think you are?! Just a bunch of kids that I'm going to cut off! Louise then looks at your friends, before saying: -....Tok, tok. - Oh?! - Who is...a nightmare without his fear. The trio turn their backs to an a furious Freddy, who runs towards them. However, without his source of power, Freedy Krueger simply disappears, thus marking his defeat. The trio smiles, as Jeffrey watches them, and the police begin to arrive at the scene.
