Synopsis

Four years have passed since Springwood witnessed the last traces of Freddy Krueger. Louise, Kevin, Chloe and William, as well as all their other residents, feel for the first time that all that may be in the past once again. But at this level, this peaceful town could take no other stance than accepting its existence in its children's nightmares - and for some, going beyond that. When the boundary between dreams and reality is tested, and just when they thought they would be safe going to sleep, our group of heroes will once again have to come together to haunt Freddy's plans - but this time, once and for all.

Description of Wait a Minute... (Mid-Credits Scene):

- And here we are, says William, standing next to the rest of the group gathered in front of the town square. - ....I'm going to be the paranoid one now, but now we can REALLY say that he's dead, and we can just have our normal lives from now on? - Yeah - This time, yeah, man. - Chloe? - Oh, sure, William...it's like in the movies, there's always a final moment. - Yeah.. - Sure, until we get to the revival part when we're 50 or so, and then one of us will die tragically as a hero. - WHAT?! [Laughs] Just kidding, Will. Scream 5, remember? - Oh, yeah...phew..; In the last scene, Chloe turns around: - Oh, you guys are still here? You can go, no post-credits after here 😉; The end credits roll.
