Description of Gerúndia do Carmo Castilho:
The main antagonist, daughter of Salomão Castilho and Mada Castilho, she is Oséias and Regina's sister and Leonor's cousin. She manipulates Rodolfo by pretending to love him, has her sister as her main accomplice. Gerúndia dies from a gunshot wound in her own plan to murder Penha, who really fall in love with Rodolfo. After death, she returns in spirit form, possessing her brother, her mother and Eustáquio (Penha's father) several times.
