Description of John C. Depp II:

Certified wifebeater. JKR previously bailed him out financially, buying his yacht for $27M in 2015 and a private island for $75M in 2016 - both places where Amber Heard was abused by Depp. He lost the UK libel trial, where Justice Nicols found that Depp had raped Heard at least once and proved "the great majority of alleged assaults" (12 out of 14 incidents). JKR defended his casting as Grindelwald and the abuse allegations against him, even threatening to sue Dan Wootton before settling with "tough words" from her "overpaid lawyer." She also rebuffed attempts from Wootton and Heard to communicate with her separately.
