I have a theory about certain actors that appear in the Sonic movies. Maybe certain actors appear or are mentioned, and they eventually appear. Allow me to clarify:
1. In the first Sonic, we see the movie Speed with Keanu Reeves, and we got Keanu Reeves as Shadow.
2. We have Shannon Chan-Kent as the waitress at the bar in the first Sonic, and who does she play in other Sonic media? Amy Rose in Sonic Prime two years later!!!
3. When Tom fist appears in the first Sonic movie, he jokes about being "on a yacht in Barbados. With Rihanna". And whenever I search up actresses to play Blaze the Cat for fan casting, Rihanna appears.
4. For the first two movies, Sonic has mentioned Vin Diesel, or something from Fast & Furious. Sure, it's because the producers of Fast & Furious produced the movies, but Sonic could be predicting an actor for another character. And since Vin Diesel is one of the most highly fan casted actors to voice Metal Sonic, he could possibly use that Groot voice to be Metal Overlord.
