We were only taking baby steps into the franchise with the second Sonic movie in 2022, but with Sonic 3 coming out, we're expecting the Shadow, Amy, Rouge, Space Colony ARK, Black Doom, the Chaotix (who are canon in the prequel comic of Sonic the Hedgehog 2), even Silver! But who voices them, who shows up first, what happens with them, when they appear, why they are important to the plot, and how they meet Sonic and his friends are all a mystery as Jeff Fowler, director of these movies, walks us through this new and exciting new universe of Sonic. There have been unconfirmed rumors of Metal Sonic and Amy being in the fourth Sonic movie, most likely going to come out in 2026. But there's something that concerns me: some people think Robotnik is going to stay good after Sonic 3. But how could he make Metal Sonic if he's good? In fact, here's a theory someone made, which I wholeheartedly agree with: do you remember in the Sonic 3 trailer where Robotnik only joins Sonic's team just because he can get one of his quills? Well, he might have lost the first one he had for the past two movies, and needed a new one to work on a new project. That new project being Metal Sonic. So, do any of you believe Robotnik would be a saint after Sonic 3, or is it going to be inevitable and Eggman is still going to be bad, as he always will be in the franchise? Honestly, I think he's going to be the bad guy again in Sonic 4, otherwise Metal Sonic will never exist.
