Sony at last gave fans a release date for the long awaited The Last of Us Part II. On February 21, 2020 you will finally be able to continue the story of Ellie and (thankfully) Joel. The second game takes place five years after the events of the first and the new trailer may be a little spoilery, but gives people a good indication of what Ellie's motivaton is for wanting revenge on a particular group. You can watch the trailer above if you haven't already, or you can watch it again just to get the feels when Joel shows up at the end.
A film version of The Last of Us has been in various stages of talks ever since the game came out in 2013 and while many would love to see the story of Joel and Ellie on the big screen many wonder why mess with a near perfect story and let the game stand on it own accord.
