Professor Unrat falls in love with the singer Lola-Lola who performs at the cabaret "The Blue Angel". He manages to marry her to follow her on her tours, facing shame and humiliation. Returning two years later to the "Blue Angel", he first refuses to put on a show in front of the former students who crowd the room, and then overcome by jealousy he tries to strangle Lola-Lola.read more
