Synopsis

An updated remake of Akira Kurosawa's 1963 crime thriller. An executive of a shoe company becomes the victim of an extortion attempt when his employee's son is abducted by mistake instead of his own. The drama includes the ransom and the subsequent manhunt for the kidnappers. It will be slightly altered to allow a greater balance of male and female characters, and I envision it would be set in America. But

Description of Aoki (Original Name Same):

Gondo's chauffer, his son is abducted in place of his boss's. But the kidnapper requests the same ransom. He begs his boss for help, then feels a great debt and duty to help catch the kidnappers after his boss agrees to help.
